Angela Dohrmann is a NY-based actor, improviser, storyteller and voice-over artist. Sometimes audience members will approach her after a show and swear they know her from somewhere and that’s when she knows they’ve watched some 1990s television. Angela is best known for playing Donna Chang, The Chinese Woman, from the Seinfeld episode of the same name. Classically trained, she began her professional career as a Shakespearean actor before landing at the Second City Conservatory and falling head over heels, crazy in love with improv.
As a teaching artist, Angela has experience with children of all grade levels, as well as adults. She currently teaches improvisation at Fairleigh-Dickinson University, Hillside Elementary School in Montclair, NJ and Artistic New Directions in NYC. Look out for her Comedysportz classes where students fall head over heels, crazy in love with improv.
